To get from the airport to the Wyndham hotel or to Gates-Hillman Center at CMU, the options are:

• Taxi: It costs about $60, takes 40 minutes. When you get to baggage claim, follow signs for the taxi stand, there are usually a few taxis waiting.


• Public Transit: The 28X bus (schedule) is very convenient, though takes longer. The bus stop is next to the taxi stand at the airport, and the final stop is the bus stand right opposite CMU. For those at the Wyndham, the bus drops you 1.5 blocks from the hotel (at Bellefield and 5th); ask the driver. It takes about an hour, and costs all of $3.75. The Google maps app on your smartphone work quite well for bus timings and directions.


• Super Shuttle: There is a counter next to the rental car counters in the baggage claim area in the airport. It costs $25 plus tip, and takes about an hour (depending on who else is going to be dropped off, etc.)


• Rental Cars: The airport has the usual set of car rentals.
